The European Union said on Monday it was gravely concerned by Iran's ballistic missile launches and tests and called on Tehran to stop activity that deepened mistrust and destabilized the region.

The United Nations Security Council has called on Yemen's warring parties to pull their forces out of the Red Sea port city of Hudaydah and two other ports "without further delays" under a recent UN-brokered ceasefire deal.

Tehran has welcomed the European Union's "positive positions" on the 2015 nuclear deal outlined in a 12-point statement, but remains critical of certain other points raised in the document, including those regarding Iran's national defense program and regional role.

The Venezuelan government has lashed out at some member states of the European Union (EU) over their move to recognize opposition leader Juan Guaido as the leader of the Latin American country.
