Iran's Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif held a meeting with the Secretary-General of Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziyad al-Nakhalah in Tehran.
In this meeting, Nakhalah described the Islamic Republic of Iran a true supporter of the Palestinian cause, presenting a report on the recent internal elections inside the movement.

Iran's capacity of installed renewables has reached 670 megawatts, with 445 megawatts of renewable power plants still under construction. According to the Ministry of Energy, 2.673 billion kilowatt-hours of renewable energy have been produced form June 2009 to 21 December 2018, leading to the reduction of about 1.844 million greenhouse gases emissions.

According to Shapour Arsalani, the director general of Azarbaijan Railways General Bureau, Iran has exported some 19,000 tons of steel products - mainly rebars - to Turkey via railway within the past two months, while the items were previously transported to the neighboring state via road fleet.
